Happy Fourth of July, everyone! I'm on vacation with the family, so here are some of the books I've taken, carrying the theme of red, white, and blue to celebrate. I don't get much time to myself, but from what I've read, they're all amazing. Glass Sword and Murder on the Orient Express are new, and Eragon I bought used because I've read it and just wanted to own a copy.
Glass Sword (Victoria Aveyard)-I'm on page 116, but so far it is absolutely amazing. I loved Red Queen, and I am devouring it's sequel. It's kind of superficial, but what I love most about Glass Sword so far is the cover design. It takes my breath away every time I look at the intricate details and careful sculpting. Murder on the Orient Express (Agatha Christie)-I picked this up when I was in Montréal because I loved the minimalist style used in the cover design. It was part of a set, but I only got this and And Then There Were None. I haven't read very much, but I love what I have read. Agatha Christie is my go to author for murder mysteries, and I do love a good mystery. Eragon (Christopher Paolini)-Eragon is my favorite dragon novel. I have read a couple others, like Seraphina, but I always end up comparing them to the Inheritance Cycle. It has the adventure, and the characters to make the story come alive.

Should I read Red Queen? I'm definitely going to, but is it worth bumping up to the next thing I read?

It depends on what sort of a read you want next. It is full of plot twists and thrills, definitely not a relaxed, easy-going read. If you want something to keep you on the edge of your seat, something you won't want to put down, Red Queen is a great pick. Happy reading!

I don't remember if "E" was me, but if it was, then thanks! I read it and loved it.
