October, October, October! Finally! It's my favorite month of the year for a multitude of reasons. First, it's the first month entirely in the fall season. Second, it's my birth month! (Libras unite!) Third, I love Halloween! I have so much to look forward to this month, for a variety of reasons.
Last weekend, I saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead at the Huntington Theater. The play was super funny, and I loved how it was set within Hamlet: there were some interesting notions there on existential concepts, and I found it, much like No Exit and The Good Place, to my taste. However, the whole think was nearly three hours long! This dampened my enthusiasm slightly and it was hard to pay attention at the end because I was eagerly awaiting the rise of the houselights and fall of the curtain. This week, I'm a bit overwhelmed but have lots of exciting things on tap. I want to tease a fun blog tour I'm on, so three adjectives: historical, captivating, Spanish! Can anyone guess the book? If not, my post (review + moodboard) will be out October 16! Get ready! I also have a long-in-the-works ARC review coming out on Thursday: It took me nearly four months to re-read this book twice and process my thoughts and feelings. An absolute five-star retelling, full of humor and sensitivity and friendship and family. Happy Tuesday, everyone!
